Sooke is a beautiful sea side community, a short hour drive Northwest
of Victoria. The waters off Sooke offers consistent salmon and halibut fishing
year round. Sooke is also home to the world renowned Sooke Harbour House
Hotel and Restaurant. Celebrities from all over have been known to helicopter
in for a sumptuous meal!
Port Renfrew is Vancouver Island’s best kept secret; and a fisherman’s paradise! It is the gateway to Pacific Rim National Park, and the home to the world famous West Coast Trail. Port Renfrew is a scenic 2 hour drive from Victoria, on Highway 14; which winds it’s
way through lush forests, tiny communities, and along the West Coast of Vancouver
Island. We offer inshore trips long the 20 miles of fishable coastline from
Owen Point to Nitinat Lake; and offshore trips to Swiftsure Bank, where the
ocean bottom rise quickly from 2 miles to a few hundred feet! This makes
for ideal fishing conditions!
